But today, Natalie Portman's pregnancy was a little more visible as the actress stepped out in some casual attire that almost resembled maternity wear.
The 29-year-old star looked relaxed in a loose tie-dye t-shirt and pink leggings as she and her mother Shelley Stevens walked her dog around Griffith Park in Los Angeles today.

The actress was accompanied by her mother, Shelley Stevens.
After her early exercise, the pair both went out to brunch.
Natalie's low key appearance was in stark contrast with her appearance at last night's Los Angeles awards ceremony where she appeared on stage with Ashton Kutcher.

The pair, who co-star in forthcoming romantic comedy No Strings Attached, were presenting an award.
And the blue ruffles of her Jason Wu dress camouflaged her stomach.
Natalie is expecting her first child with fiancé, ballet choreographer Benjamin Millepied, in the spring.

In a statement the actress said: 'I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience.'
And Natalie may have to find another clever award show dress soon.
She has been nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe for her performance in ballet thriller Black Swan.
That ceremony takes place on January 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
