Thandie Newton Says No To Plastic Surgery: Shares Beauty Tip

Actress Thandie Newton, star of numerous blockbuster films including The Pursuit of Happyness, and Mission: Impossible II, has made her stance on plastic surgery very clear. She's not interested!

The mere idea of aging gracefully in Hollywood has fallen by the wayside with the amount of plastic surgery procedures on the up-and-up, as many famous faces are grasping at cosmetic-straws to maintain their youthful appearance. But Ms. Newton isn't buying into the concept of artificial beauty.
I'll be 40 this year, but honestly would not consider surgery; all my beauty icons are women with expressive faces. Isabelle Huppert ages so beautifully and gracefully, as have Maggie Smith and Judi Dench. I am struck by their expressive beauty.
The actress also dished on a top secret beauty tip that she incorporates into her beauty regime. A little something known as "turmeric."

In an interview with HELLO! Magazine, Thandie said...
Olay does a great tinted moisturizer that I add a little turmeric to - making it more yellow depending on my skin tone and the season. That's a great trick for all women who find that foundations are too ashy or too pink for their skins. And it's anti-inflammatory. It's my secret weapon.
The turmeric plant is native to South Asia and is used traditionally for both culinary and cosmetic purposes, while also possessing several medicinal properties as well.

We recommend a Google search for "turmeric" if you wish to discover more information concerning this extraordinary plant.
