Tara Reid gets REALLY dolled up for Halloween in a tiny Barbie costume

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

What a doll: Tara Reid wore a Barbie outfit to a Halloween event at Cipriani in New York last night

Tara Reid transformed into a living doll last night as she got a jump start on Halloween celebrations.

The American Pie actress, who has turned to plastic surgery in her quest for the perfect figure, dressed as her apparent icon, Barbie, for a party at New York's Cipriani Downtown restaurant.

She went the extra mile, donning a thatch of extra hair that matched her own long platinum locks.

The 34year-old wore a pink Barbie-themed corset and matching handbag, finished with a ruffled black tutu and black ribbon-strapped heels.

Her silver Barbie nameplate pendant on a black ribbon added a touch of authenticity, making her look just like the real thing.

Tara wasn't alone in her shenanigans last night either.

Anna Hathaway attended a party at the Lanvin boutique in New York, apparently dressed as a leopard in a baggy printed jumpsuit with a purple mask, while Janet Jackson wore a pencil-thin moustache with her all-black outfit.

Tara was looking healthier last night in comparison to her recent skinny, pale appearance.

With a history of addiction and rehab, the actress has openly admitted to her problems in the past.

In December last year, she spent 60 days at Promises rehab clinic in Malibu, California, known for its celebrity clients.

Also her weight has been a worrying problem, with her figure often teetering on the scary skinny side.

But earlier this year Tara claimed she was healthy and back on track.

She told In Touch Weekly magazine: 'Rehab saved my life. Before, I used to think about tomorrow and I hated it. Now I can't wait.

'The hardest thing was walking through the door for the first time [and] finally admitting that I had a problem.

'My focus is to get back in my career and stay sober, and keep on having a better life one day at a time.'
