How to spend it: Coleen Rooney smiles at her husband Wayne, glass in hand, as they soak up the sun at a Dubai hotel
The vintage champagne cost £36 a glass. Her mojito cocktails were £17. Even his chicken nuggets and chips were £25 a portion.
But for Britain's highest-paid footballer and his wife, this is the sort of luxury that can be taken for granted.
Lazing by the pool in a seven-star Dubai hotel, the couple's £250 snack bill will barely even dent Wayne Rooney's new £28,571-a-day wage packet.
In fact, seeing as he earns about £1,190 an hour, the 25-year-old actually ended lunch richer than he was when he started.
The England striker relaxed in the 34C heat at the Burj Al Arab hotel just hours after his teammates had struggled to beat Stoke City on a biting cold day in England.
He had been given time off following his lengthy contract negotiations, which finally ended last week.
Rooney, who initially threatened to walk out of Manchester United, eventually changed his mind last week when the club offered him a new deal worth £200,000 a week or £10.4million a year.

And after it was agreed, he was given permission to go on holiday to celebrate his birthday on Sunday and to recover from an injured ankle.
He and his wife, who had left their young son with relatives and fled his own planned birthday party to go away, enjoyed their break in a style to which they can afford to become accustomed.
Arriving at the poolside at midday, Mrs Rooney, 24, ordered two £17 mojitos and a £25 chicken and veal club sandwich.
Her husband joined her and ordered nuggets and chips. Then the couple shared another portion of chips at £8.
They also drank eight bottles of Corona beer, costing £72 and two glasses of Louis Roederer Brut2003 champagne at £72. The pair, who have been staying in a £2,000-a-night suite, finally disappeared inside at 4pm.
Rooney had celebrated his birthday by ordering a £300 Chinese meal on Sunday night, in the couple's two-floor suite.
The hotel they are staying at is taller than the Eiffel tower, is built on its own man- made island and has an underwater restaurant.
Earlier this year, Rooney's marriage was engulfed in turmoil following claims that the footballer had cheated on his wife when she was pregnant by sleeping with two prostitutes at a Manchester hotel.
Coleen Rooney, 24, was said to have been 'absolutely devastated' by the betrayal and went to stay with her parents.
However, the couple put on a display of togetherness by the pool in Dubai.
And the luxury certainly won't be over when they return home on Thursday, as they'll start planning a birthday party for 100 friends at their Cheshire mansion.
