Magician David Blaine, 37, and his French model fiancée Alizee Guinochet are expecting their first child together.
The illusionist, best known for his endurance stunts, told partygoers the good news at a recent rooftop cancer benefit, , the New York Post reported.
Blaine is best known for his extreme stunts, such as the 44 days he spent depriving himself of food while suspended above the River Thames in London
And of course excited father-to-be Blaine said he plans to pass on his skills to his child, who is expected next year.
He gushed to party guests that he is eager to teach his first child some magic.
A source told The Star magazine last month: 'You could see the noticeable beginnings of a baby bump.
Alizee and David were laughing throughout the meal. They seemed like the happiest couple in the city.'

The source also claimed that the father-to-be was filling out somewhat too.
'David might be carrying some sympathy weight. He looks like he’s put on 25 lbs.!,' the source added.
The baby is expected next year.
And Blaine apparently plans to pass on his skills to his child: He reportedly gushed to party guests that he was excited to teach his first child some magic.
