Supermodel Heidi Klum, Leona Lewis and Natalia Vodianova lead the glamour Roberto Cavalli's $2million Paris show

Supermum: Heidi Klum sparkled in a peach and gold plunging dress as she arrived at Roberto Cavalli's 40th anniversary party in Paris


Designer Roberto Cavalli certainly knows how to throw a party.

The designer who is celebrating his 40th years in the business kicked off Paris Fashion Week with a spectacular gala event inviting famous friends Heidi Klum, Leona Lewis and Natalia Vodianova.

Models Klum, Vodianova and Refaeli all put in a glamorous appearance at the Roberto Cavalli 40th anniversary party, in Paris, France.

The designer is celebrating 40 years in the business with some of his closest friends and associates in a party rumoured to be costing $2million.

Hollywood stars such as Taylor Swift and Rachel Bilson were also in attendance, as they were in Milan last week.

The event took place at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris and heralded the start of Paris Fashion Week Ready To Wear S/S 2011.

Vodianova opened Cavalli's 40th anniversary show in Milan last week and was reportedly paid between $67,000-$94,000 for both her walk down the runway in Milan and her attendance at the designer's Paris bash.

The glittering event is said to be costing $2 million.

Former O.C star Rachel Bilson looked stunning in an animal print dress, accessorised with a red clutch bag.

Leona, a front row regular at Cavalli's show is a big fan of the designer.

She said at his show in Milan last week: 'Fashion goes hand in hand with music, and Roberto has been really supportive — I want to return the support.'

The pop and R&B singer just wrapped her tour, and enthused: 'I can’t wait to get back into the studio.'
