As Kate Beckinsale picked up her 11-year-old daughter yesterday, she outshone the other mothers with her trendy outfit.
Clad in long white top, black leggings and black biker boots, the 37-year-old actress looked cool in the Los Angeles heat as she walked Lily to the car.
Lily, Beckinsale's daughter by her former partner, actor Michael Sheen, had to be content with her red school uniform as she walked with her mother in the Pacific Palisades area of the city.

However, Beckinsale has said she doubts her daughter will be an actress when she's older.
'She says no. She says she really enjoyed it and she’d much rather be a writer, thank you very much.'
Meanwhile, it has been announced that Beckinsale, who is married to director Len Wiseman, will reprise her role as the vampire Selene in an Underworld film sequel.
Underworld Four will begin filming next March for a January 2012 release.
