She was famous for her curves when she first made her name as an American Idol contestant back in 2004.
But six years later, Jennifer Hudson is clearly enjoying showing off her substantially slimmer figure.
The 29-year-old singer looked stunning last night as she performed at a Las Vegas benefit concert in a floor length purple gown and subtle jewellery.
The Dreamgirls star, who was far more curvy in the 2006 film, wowed the audience with a rendition of song And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going at the concert for Andre Agassi's Foundation for Children.
She was joined at the benefit at the Wyn Hotel by Jason Mraz, Sir Elton John, Rob Thomas and AJ Green.
Hudson has dropped five dress sizes - going from an American size 16 (UK size 20) down to a six (UK size ten) by embarking on a Weight Watchers regime and hitting the gym five times a week.
'It's not a diet, it's really a way of living that teaches you better skills,' she said recently.

'For years I felt like I could never have ice cream, but I can eat ice cream occasionally now.'
Hudson said the birth of her son David Jr a year ago as her main inspiration for her to slim down and shape up.
Her remarkable transformation has even helped score her a lucrative gig as the new Weight Watchers spokesperson.
David Jr's father is reality TV star turned pro wrestler, David Otunga, to whom Hudson is engaged to be married.
