Alex Curran shows off her £175k Aston Martin... but she's still got holes in her Balmain sweater

Miss Moneypenny: Alex Curran shows off her new £175,000 Aston Martin DBS on a lunch trip into Liverpool

As she climbed into her brand new £175,000 Aston Martin today, observers would be safe in assuming Alex Curran isn't short of cash.

But while the Wag's vehicle was top of the range, her ragged clothes looked as if they had been attacked by a particularly aggressive swarm of wasps.

Alex's pullover was covered in large torn patches, while her jeans were equally frayed

Torn up: Alex is bang on trend with her skinny ripped jeans and heeled clogs

And while the Balmain sweater, ripped designer jeans and heeled clogs must have cost a fortune, they didn't match the classic elegance of her new wheels.

Alex rolled up for lunch with a friend in Liverpool today in a shiny new Aston Martin DBS, identical to the one driven by Daniel Craig in the last James Bond film Quantum Of Solace.

However, we're pretty sure that Bond would not have been slapped with a parking ticket - unlike Alex.

The wife of England and Liverpool star Steven Gerrard came back from lunch to find a fine slapped under the windscreen wiper of her car after parking it on a double yellow line.

But with husband Steven earning over £100,000 a week, the 27-year-old should have no trouble paying it off.

And as she left and got in her car, which was being admired by a few passers-by, she didn't seem fazed by the ticket as she sped off home.

One onlooker said: 'Alex really does have everything - stunning looks, amazing husband, and now this beautiful car.

'She looked just like a Bond girl as she got out, even wearing casual clothes she manages to look gorgeous and make an entrance.

'You could see everyone stop to stare as she pulled up.'

Husband Gerrard is said to be a huge James Bond fan, with even Daniel Craig, who is a Liverpool supporter, saying he thinks the footballer would make a great Bond.
