Bathing beauties: James Corden and David Beckham enjoy a soak in the tub together for Sport Relief

Watch out Victoria, it looks like you've got competition.

James Corden certainly looks like the cat that's got the cream as he sinks into a bubble bath with David Beckham.

But Mrs Beckham needn't worry - their romp in the tub was just for a sketch for Sport Relief which has been called the 'single funniest scene ever'.

In the three-minute sketch, which will be aired on the BBC on Friday night as part of the channel's Sport Relief night.

The pair share a candle-lit bath, with James, 31, in character as Smithy, his role in comedy Gavin and Stacey, even giving Beckham's toned, tattooed body the once over with an appreciative nod.

It was filmed in Milan a few weeks ago before Beckham, 34, tore his left Achilles tendon, ruling his out of this summer's World Cup.

A source said: 'It is undoubtedly the single funniest scene ever filmed for Sport Relief or Comic Relief.

'Forget comedy gold - this is comedy platinum.'

And Corden said meeting the AC Milan star was an 'incredible' experience that left him wanting to 'lick him'.

Speaking to Heat magazine, he said: 'I just wanted to lick him. Honestly, he was unbelievably nice. We went out for dinner, we went out, we socialised, we had a great time.

'And I was looking at him thinking, "Here's a guy who's had some truly nasty, horrible things written about him and his family in the past and yet he's never spoken back about it, he's always nice and is nothing but respectful to everybody".'

He added: 'The impact he has on everyone he meets is amazing. He was just lovely. I do feel like I sort of fell in love with him, genuinely.

'You know when you have a crush on someone, meet them and then you go away and think, 'Oh that was weird?'. It was like that - such great fun.'

Beckham was just one of many sporting celebrities given the comedy treatment from Corden as part of this year's Sport Relief.

His former Manchester United team mates were put through their paces as Corden led them in am aerobics workout which left leaving Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand in fits of giggles.

Corden also joined forces with Olympic diver Tom Daly, Formula 1 driver Jensen Button and British tennis number one Andy Murray.
