Wearing a sheer long orange dress with her long blonde hair pulled back into a loose ponytail, Simpson was at one point pictured looking at her finger in the store.

She looked pleased as she showed Johnson the purchase on her hand as they strolled outside together

Simpson, who has previously dated Dallas Cowboy star Tony Romo and musician John Mayer, began dating Johnson in May, three months after he split from his wife.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that her TV show The Price of Beauty is being 'retooled' for its second season.

The show is now likely to focus on Jessica giving people makeovers.
