Now Diana Vickers is channelling Twiggy as she poses in her underwear for Sixties-style shoot

Edgy: The new shots of Diana Vickers come as she was unveiled as the face of a high street fashion show to take place during London Fashion Week

She seems to have a thing about channelling sixties icons at the moment.

Just days after emulating Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry in a photoshoot, Diana Vickers has struck again, and looks exactly like former supermodel Twiggy in these new shots.

X Factor star Diana, who has transformed into a pop princess thanks to tracks like Once and The Boy Who Murdered Love, is pictured in fancy underwear after being unveiled as the face of a high street fashion show to take place during London Fashion Week.

And one picture of Diana with her hands on her hips bears a striking resemblance to a black and white shot taken of Twiggy in 1969.

Diana, 19, is fronting the campaign to promote the Look Show, which is the only event open to consumers during the week.

She will also perform at the show, hosted by Look magazine, which takes place at London's Saatchi Gallery on Friday.

Diana, who posed in vintage-style lingerie and stockings, will be joined on the bill by Gabriella Cilmi, VV Brown and US band The Like.

The Look Show will showcase the autumn/winter collections of 11 high street retailers, including H&M, River Island, New Look, French Connection and Marks & Spencer among others.

In February, Look magazine hosted the first ever consumer fashion show to be held during London Fashion Week, which is traditionally the domain of designer labels.

Diana is currently preparing to release the third single from her album Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree and recently revealed that she would like to duet with her former x Factor mentor Cheryl Cole.

‘I would love to duet with Cheryl Cole,’ she told Metro. ‘It would be awesome.’

She admitted that she has not kept in touch with the Girls Aloud star, but would love the opportunity to collaborate with her.

‘X Factor was the most nerve-racking thing I've ever done in my life but it really helped me build my confidence and bring me to where I am now,’ she said.
