What a toad! Naughty Henry Beckwith accompanies girlfriend Geri Halliwell to her daughter's birthday party

The Princess and the Toad: Geri Halliwell and her boyfriend Henry Beckwith head to her daughter Bluebell's fourth birthday party

Only last week he was spotted hiding his face as he was snapped holding hands with a mystery woman in the back of black cab.

But having faced the music and kissed and made up with girlfriend Geri Halliwell, Henry Beckwith appeared to be back in her good books as they attended her daughter Bluebell's fourth birthday party on Friday.

But it appeared that the socialite took his recent naughty escapade a little too seriously as he arrived at the bash dressed as a toad.

Henry, 31, was dressed from head to toe in full reptilian costume as he and Geri, 37, helped him carry in presents for Bluebell from his car.

And he appeared to have also changed in his car as Geri was seen carrying his trousers and shirt into the house under her arm.

But he had to make his grand entrance and made sure his toad head was on securely before heading inside to surprise Bluebell.

Even Geri, dressed a fairy princess in a pretty blue dress, looked happy as she walked into the party, where her former Spice Girl bandmate Melanie Chisholm, 36, was also a guest along with her 15-month-old daughter Scarlett.

Geri has clearly having forgiven Henry, who she has been dating since March 2009, for holding hands with another woman behind her back two weeks ago, even though she was said to be 'devastated' after seeing the pictures.

Henry was snapped leaving the Raffles nightclub in London earlier this month holding hands with a woman called Helen Fenwick in the back of a taxi.

After they realised they had both been photographed, both of them tried to hide their faces, implying that the hand holding wasn't entirely innocent.

Beckwith, the son of millionaire property developer Sir John Beckwith and heir to a £400million fortune, also quickly took his hand away from Fenwick's, and attempted to sit as far away from her as possible.
