It's the ultimate Hollywood fantasy. But while instant fame may be every aspiring actor's dream, the stars of Twilight have struggled to adjust.

But not Ashley Green.

The 23-year-old has capitalised on her role as Alice Cullen, filming adverts in nothing but a slick of body paint, travelling the world, and enjoying the A-list lifestyle.

She's even rumoured to have a celebrity boyfriend, in the form of Joe Jonas, with whom she was pictured in Los Angeles yesterday.

True to form, over the weekend she let her hair down at a pool party in Las Vegas, stripping to her bikini to enjoy the fun.

Ashley was pictured chatting to party-goers, playing in the pool, and enjoying a drink.

She was the host of the bash at the Wet Republic outdoor club at the MGM Grand.

She has every reason to be pleased. Ashley says she would still be working as a waitress if she hadn't landed her breakthrough role.

'Twilight gave me my career,' she said. 'I would still be working in a restaurant if it wasn’t for this. 'I’ll never forget how lucky I am.

'I’ve always thought it would be completely awful to look back on my life and wonder what would have happened had I only taken a chance on something I wanted to achieve.'

Like Ashley, the other Twilight cast members were relative unknowns when they were catapulted to fame with their parts in the teen movie of the decade.

But unlike her, many have struggled with their new high profile.

Leading man Robert Pattinson has spoken of the difficulty he had adjusting after his role as Edward Cullen made him a sex symbol.

And his real-life girlfriend, and onscreen lover, Kristen Stewart is famously awkward in the spotlight.
