Princely sum: Alexandra Escat won't talk about Prince Andrew but wants to cash in on the limelight nonetheless
It seems cavorting with a 50-year-old royal can do wonders for one's modelling career.
Prince Andrew's new friend, 25-year-old Alexandra Escat, posed for a photoshoot in Ibiza at the weekend.
She is is said to be awash with offers of lucrative work.
The bikini-wearing model was spotted rubbing sunscreen into the Duke of York's back on a super-yacht off the coast of Sardinia this month.
And he seemed just as keen to get touchy feely, kissing Miss Escat's hand as she giggled away.
Despite meeting 'kiss-and-tell' publicist Max Clifford last week, she will not be speaking about Andrew, her friends insist.
However, she does seem keen to capitalise on her time in the spotlight.
Mr Clifford has said there is 'a lot of commercial and media interest' in her.
Although Miss Escat has been the face of Unilever's Cream Silk hair conditioner campaign she remains relatively unknown in Britain and the U.S.
Miss Escat is a familiar face on the Philippines party circuit.
She was brought up in Madrid, her mother's birthplace, and studied PR there for five years from the age of 18 before moving back to Manila.
In a column for the Spanish society journal Estilo de Madrid, she described a new beauty clinic as 'very convenient for those quickie Botox injections before going to dinner ... It just makes you want to continue drinking wine all night'.
When she was pictured with Prince Andrew on a superyacht off Sardinia, royal sources quickly denied the pair were anything more than acquaintances, claiming Miss Escat was married to another guest on the boat.
But it soon emerged that she is very much a single girl.
She is also single-minded in her ambition to reach the top in the modelling game.
Royal connection: Despite the fact that Miss Escat is the face of Unilever's Cream Silk hair conditioner campaign, she is relatively unknown in Britain and the U.S.
A source close to her said: ‘She is charming and absolutely beautiful, with her life ahead of her.
'Andrew and her were much closer than people think. He is keen. That’s obvious because of constant calls and emails.
'But talking about relationships is not her way – she's not like that. Honesty and integrity are important to her.’

Mr Clifford later said: ‘People are looking for her, and contacting her family and her friends. There is a lot of commercial and media interest, including potential TV adverts, modelling assignments and swimwear deals.
‘She was wondering whether to go into PR but I have advised her against it if, as she has said, her priority is to make her parents proud.
'She is keeping her head down at the moment while she looks at the whole picture.'
