Raising the roof: Justin Timberlake makes his way through a sea of fans as he films a scene from Friends With Benefits in Times Square

The extras in New York's Times Square must have been thrilled to have Justin Timberlake standing in their midst as he filmed a scene for his new film, Friends With Benefits.

Surrounded by a sea of fans raising the roof, Justin, who was joined by co-star Mila Kunis, must surely have felt right at home during the scene. The singer turned actor is certainly no stranger to screaming fans.

However, the Sexy Back star traded in his usual casual attire for a look that could easily see him gracing the cover of GQ Magazine.

The 29-year-old looked smart, suave and sexy in his navy blue jacket, dark jeans, striped shirt, tan loafers and skinny black tie.

Mila also looked adorable. The 26-year-old That 70s Show actress wore a short black skirt, grey blouse and olive green heels.

Justin has been seen out and about in New York over the last few weeks filming scenes from the movie.

However, Thursday night's Times Square shoot was certainly the biggest to date.

As Justin's character makes his way through the throng of people, the crowd parts like the red sea and gets ready to begin some serious dance moves.

Friends With Benefits is the story of a headhunter and a magazine editor who begin sleeping together because they’re too busy to meet new people.

Things become complicated when Justin's character falls for Mila's character who happens to be dating someone else.

No official release date has been announced for the film, however it is scheduled to hit theatres sometime in 2011.
